How to get here

We recommend a direct flight to Liberia, the largest city in Costa Rica's North. There are direct flights to Liberia from Miami (American Airlines), Atlanta (Delta and Air France), Huston (United), New York (Jetblue), and Toronto (Air Canada).

You can of course also fly in to San José. From Europe there are direct fly’s from Zurich, London, Paris and Madrid. From San José you might enjoy a scenic flight in a small airplane.

From the Liberia airport it is a 35 minutes' drive: From the airport compound you take right in the direction of Filadelfia and the various beaches. Stay on this road for 6 miles until you drive over a metallic bridge. 300 yards after the bridge at the intersection and the sign to "Golfo de Papagayo" you turn right. Continue on this paved road until you reach Peninsula Papagayo. It is thereby important not to leave the paved road or make a turn at an intersection. After 13.5 miles you get to a rotary (round about). Take the second exit. After 400 yards you will reach the entrance gate to the Peninsula Papagayo.

Give the guard your name and tell him that you hold a reservation for el alma. They will then help you to find your way to the villa.
